AJ’s Movie Review… Charlie and The Chocolate Factory

Willy_wonka

First up, I have never seen the original movie when it was showing way back when. Or even if there was a movie of this strange yet funny movie. But when I went to watch it with my friends, I have to truthfully say it was well the worth the money spent buying the ticket! Even more! It was one of the most imaginative movies I have ever watched by Tim Burton, full of color and a warped sense of imagination which makes it appealing to both the adults and the younger generation!

Now I won’t go too much into detail about the movie. Just a small info on what the movie is all about. The movie revolves around a young boy named Charlie Bucket who is from a poor family living under a shadow or a HUGE chocolate factory owned by a colorful and enigmatic Willy Wonka. Now, Charlie and four other children (there’s only 5 golden ticket in the whole wide world) managed to find himself a Golden Ticket which allows him a one day visit into the mysterious Wonka Chocolate factory guided by Willy Wonka himself. Now this is where all the fun and adventure begins! Full of color and mystery, cooky candy inventions, funny moments, and musical extravaganza theme’ in 70’s straight up to the 90’s. My favorite would be the rock theme which reminded me a lot of Led Zeppelin, Scorpion and Kiss! Watch the movie if you want to know what I mean. You won’t regret it!

Nuf’ Said. LaterZ.
